New skills, Great sports.

Learning new skills is what camp is all about. At Sea-Gull, campers can choose from a wide range of instructional classes on land and on water. There are also several open periods where choices can be made daily.

On the field, campers can receive instruction in English horseback riding, softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, field hockey, and archery, as well as tennis on our four professional courts. Throughout the summer, games against rival camps offer exciting challenges to our girls' skills, teamwork and camp spirit.

On the waterfront, there is no lake that compares to crystal clear Lake Charleviox. The steady breezes are ideal for sailing, and we have a fleet of boats that can accommodate everyone from the novice to the advanced sailor. Sea-kayaking is another sport that has grown in popularity at Sea-Gull, while wind surfing, water skiing and canoeing remain perennial favorites. Safety and skill are emphasized in all water sports taught by our qualified staff.

Sea-Gull's certified Water Safety Instructors provide Red Cross swimming classes for all levels of swimmer. We also offer distance swimming for our advanced swimmers, and lifeguard training which is a component of the full-season program.
